Grilled Oriental Short Ribs
4 pounds oriental style short ribs ¼ inch thick
2 Scallions
1 cup Soy Sauce
3 cloves Garlic minced
½ cup Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Orange Blossom Honey
½ cup Dry Sherry wine
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp ground ginger
2 pinches Curry Powder
Fresh cracked pepper
Coarse salt
Combine every ingredient except the ribs together to make an marinade. Whisk together well. Marinade the short ribs for no shorter that two (2) hours and as long as overnight. Grill on medium high heat for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium rare. Brush marinade on short ribs while cooking. I usually save some of the marinade before it touches the raw beef for a dipping sauce for both the ribs and the rice I usually make with it.
