Grilled Sweet Potatoes Steak Fries
- 2 Large Sweet Potatoes or Yams
- ¼ lb Amish butter
- Brown Sugar
- Salt
- Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Cut the potatoes lengthwise an 1/8 to a ¼ inch thick. Melt the butter in the microwave. Brush the butter onto the potatoe sheets to soften them up. Sprinkle a little salt and pepper on both sides of the potatoes and then dust them generously with brown sugar. Spread the slices out on a piece of foil and then cover them with another piece of foil. Preheat the grill to medium high heat. Grill for about 30 minutes or until slices get soft.
