Simple Chicken Prosciutto
4 chicken breast fillets
pepper
TB dried basil
3 TB olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 egg
3 TB butter
4 pieces thinly sliced prosciutto
fontina cheese
1/2 cup white wine
Season filets with pepper. Mix basil, olive oil and garlic together; rub
on filets. Whisk egg and dip filets in. Heat butter in pan, brown
chicken in butter until almost cooked. Put chicken on baking pan, top
each with one slice of prosciutto and fontina cheese. Broil until
prosciutto starts to crisp and cheese bubbles. Add wine to butter pan
chicken was cooked in, scraping brown bits from bottom of pan and
reduce. Serve chicken with brown butter wine sauce and enjoy!
